Getting care from Baltimore, MD
Baltimore patients are a real part of our practice, and we want to be straightforward about how that works. Our only physical clinic is in Silver Spring, Maryland, at 11303 Amherst Ave STE 2. Baltimore residents are served primarily by telehealth — which our clinicians are licensed to provide anywhere in Maryland — and are genuinely welcome in person whenever a hands-on visit makes sense.
The drive from most Baltimore neighborhoods is roughly 45–60 minutes down I-95 or US-29, depending on traffic and where you are starting. Parking at the clinic is free and on site, so there is no garage to navigate when you arrive in pain.
Telehealth here is a full clinician evaluation, not a triage call. We review your history, current medications, imaging you already have, what you have tried, and what your day actually looks like — then we build an individualized plan.
Most Baltimore patients start with a telehealth evaluation. In that visit a clinician takes a full pain history, reviews prior imaging and records you can share, discusses what has and has not helped, and sets out the options. Individual results vary, and a treatment plan is only set after that clinical evaluation — we do not promise a cure or a specific outcome, and we do not run an immediate care walk-in line.
Because we are open Monday through Sunday, Baltimore patients are not stuck choosing between missing work and waiting weeks. Weekend appointments run Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekday hours are Monday and Tuesday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Wednesday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On top of that, weekday evening telehealth runs 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, which is usually the easiest slot for someone commuting or caring for family during the day. Same-day telehealth slots open regularly, so it is worth checking the booking page even on short notice.
What telehealth can cover is broader than most people expect: the initial evaluation, medication review and monitored medication management, discussion of imaging and referrals, home exercise and physical therapy planning, follow-ups, and adjustments to an existing plan. Any medication management is monitored and physician-supervised; opioid therapy, when it is part of a plan at all, is closely monitored and never the default answer to pain.
What telehealth cannot cover is anything requiring hands on the body. Interventional injections, in-office physical therapy sessions, acupuncture, laser therapy and StemWave are performed at the Silver Spring clinic. If your plan calls for one of those, we schedule it deliberately — often stacking an evaluation, a procedure and any follow-up work into a single trip so the drive from Baltimore is worth making once rather than three times.
Baltimore patients most often come to us for stubborn low back pain, sciatica that radiates down the leg, and peripheral neuropathy — burning, numbness or pins-and-needles that has not responded to what was tried first. We also see neck pain, knee and shoulder pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, post-accident pain and work injuries. Each of those has its own page explaining, in plain English, what we look for and what care can realistically look like.
On cost: the initial evaluation is $175 self-pay, and we accept most major insurance carriers. If we cannot bill your specific carrier, we will tell you before your visit rather than after, and the self-pay path stays open with no surprise bill attached.
If you are in Baltimore and unsure whether to start virtually or drive down, the honest answer is: start with telehealth. It costs you an hour instead of half a day, and if the plan turns out to need in-office care, you will arrive already evaluated and with a procedure scheduled.
