Knee pain
Evaluation and treatment for osteoarthritis, meniscal irritation, and chronic knee pain.
What it feels like
Knee pain can be a deep ache after stairs, a sharp catch when you pivot, or morning stiffness that eases as you move. Swelling, buckling, or a knee that gives way changes the picture and the plan.
What we check at your evaluation
We assess alignment, muscle balance around the knee and hip, ligament and meniscal stress tests, and swelling. We ask what activities you want back — a walk, the stairs, the yard — and design around that goal.
Treatment options we offer
Every plan is individualized after a clinician evaluation. Depending on your situation your plan may draw from steroid or trigger-point injections, guided physical therapy, acupuncture, laser therapy, StemWave (non-invasive shockwave), and — where clinically appropriate and consistent with Maryland law and CDC guidelines — monitored medication management. Treatment plans are set only after clinical evaluation; no outcome is guaranteed.

Do I need surgery?
Many knee problems improve without surgery. We share a plan and, if a surgical consult is indicated, coordinate that referral.
