Condition

Neck pain

Evaluation and multimodal treatment for chronic neck pain and cervical radiculopathy.

What it feels like

Neck pain can feel like tightness that will not release across the shoulders, a sharp stab when you turn to check a blind spot, or headaches that start at the base of the skull. Screen work, poor sleep positions, and old injuries all contribute. When it radiates into the arm or hand — tingling, numbness, weakness — it needs a different look than an isolated muscle strain.

What we check at your evaluation

We ask about your workstation and your sleep setup, examine neck range of motion, palpate the muscles that most often refer pain, and screen the nerves that feed the arm. Old imaging is welcome; new imaging is ordered when it will change your plan.

Treatment options we offer

Every plan is individualized after a clinician evaluation. Depending on your situation your plan may draw from steroid or trigger-point injections, guided physical therapy, acupuncture, laser therapy, StemWave (non-invasive shockwave), and — where clinically appropriate and consistent with Maryland law and CDC guidelines — monitored medication management. Treatment plans are set only after clinical evaluation; no outcome is guaranteed.
